Nature: Sensory is a project, led by artists Michelle Duxbury and Sam Metz, that centres alternative readings and understanding of landscape that challenge traditional perceptions and reimagines how we experience the environment. The exhibition features work commissioned from disabled artists that explores alternative sensory engagements with nature that are more than just visual, such as the tactile qualities of materials or the rhythm of movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To celebrate the opening of Nature: Sensory in Leeds, Michelle Duxbury and Sam Metz warmly invite you to an ‘In Conversation’ event with Ella Cronk, Partnerships & Projects Manager at Yorkshire Sculpture International. They will share information about the background to the project and plans for the future, and will be joined by exhibiting artists Amelia Baron and Helen Thomas to discuss their work in the show that respond to Wakefield’s green space.
